Family trouble on the go - my uncle, who has dementia, appointed his brother to be in charge ages ago while he was only mildly wobby.
The POA has now been registered, but family are concerned because his brother won't spend a penny of the cash - which the bro will inherit if it's kept. Two issues: 1 - I don't think my uncle is being cared for properly and needs to be in a home, which the brother won't hear of 2- uncle keeps mumbling have you had your birthday present to all the kids, who naturally have not received a penny since POA kicked off.
Can we find out what the POA says? Failing that, how does one shop someone for mismanaging a POA? Thanks....
