House sale after repossession- where do I stand?

Dh and I had our house repossessed about 5 years ago. Shortly afterwards dh declared himself bankrupt (I did not).

I have just received a solicitors letter stating that there are surplus funds from the sale to distribute. Does dh's insolvency affect whether or not I am entitled to any of the surplus? Also, how does it work as we owned the property as joint tenants?

Would be very grateful for any advice.

You are entitled to half. His half belongs to the trustee in bankruptcy.
