We bought a Land Rover Discovery second hand picked it up 9 weeks ago, developed many problems and has been deemed unroadworthy by a Land Rover specialist. Basically should never have been sold it in the first place. Phoned dealer and he said our problem. We were told that we had a one year warranty, phoned up he said no. He has offered £500 to help towards the repairs, a drop in the ocean but not interested.

Where do we go from here and can anyone tell me about procedures for small claims court?

The car probably wasn't roadworthy when you bought it. contact your local trading standards and threaten the dealer with the small claims court.

No it wasn't, forgot that I could report them to trading standards, sending it in to be fixed next week and a ltter will be sent. Thank you.
