Can she move away?

My DSS mum has recently told us she 'may' be moving 200 miles away. She already moved 30 miles away causing real problems for visitation as we don't have a car, but now she is planning this :( Reason is apparently her new husband's job may be under threat.

I'm just worrying so much, if she does this how will we see him, and how will he see his brothers? He's only just 10, and really not ready to make long train journeys alone, but we really can't afford £100 just for travelling to pick him up. We also both work so it's not really feasible to do holidays only.

You could apply to court to try to prevent it, but it's likely she will be able to go. Is there a court order?

No, everything has always been fairly amicable. I thought as much really.

She has given us 3 options for where they might move to - all 200 miles away from here - the only good thing really is that if London is the place they move to then we could move also as it would be nice to be living near my family again.
