Hello all,
I hope you can help me.
I work for a VERY small charity and we don't have a HR dept so my boss has taken it upon herself to sort out my maternity stuff, like leave, sickness etc...
She's not very organised and generally not very bright so i doubt she'll do a good job.
Does anyone know whether I am entitled to request that an independent HR advisor is consulted in order to ensure that I don't miss out on anything or that no errors are made?
Thanks,
M x

Wouldn't have thought so.

Nope sorry, no reason why you couldn't take the information they provide to CAB for help though. Lots of info around, try here . Good luck.

As well as CAB the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO ) or the SCVO in Scotland have lots of human resource information specifically for small charities.
