If child access is set out through the courts, is this agreement commonly reviewed as the child gets older or is it fixed until one party decides to go back to court to change it ?

Yes on the first count. The court will only get involved if you can't agree whether it should be varied or not.

Thanks C.

So if I sought an access agreement ( assuming mediation fails ) via the court for my 2.5 dd it would automatically assume that my XP and I agree on changes as DD gets older ?

No. It can only make provision for now. When she starts school dynamics change. You'll have to agree any changes or take it back to court.
