MOT date query

Realised today MOT runs out a few days sooner than we'd thought - Saturday. Earliest garage can do it is Tuesday. Am I right in thinking we can still drive it there on Monday ?

You can drive it directly to a pre-booked MOT test after it has run out - not sure about driving it there the day before, but if you've agreed with the garage to take it there on Monday night for them to test on Tuesday I guess that would be covered. You can certainly drive it there on the Tuesday.

You can drive it directly to a pre booked test. Seems completely reasonable to drop it off the night before but not sure. Could you just ask the garage to change the date just in case - after all you'll be driving it away fully MOTd so the actual date the job is done is irrelevant.

I am deeply distrustful of insurance companies when it comes to paying up so perhaps I am a bit paranoid and like all the t's crossed correctly!
