I have an ex-stepchild who is going through a tough time at the moment and it looks like they may be coming to stay with me to give parent and child some breathing space and break they cycle of behaviour. My question is, what if anything, should I be putting in place to enable me to sort things such as schooling/doctors/dentists etc. if this turns into a longer term issue - should I be asking for some sort of parental responsibility or is there something that the parent with responsibility can sign to say I have responsibility whilst she is in my care?
