Recommended will-writer

Last summer, I sought some advice on here regarding will-writing. My situation is such that an off-the-shelf, fill-in-yourself will wouldn't have cut it, but I felt stumped as to who to go to get it done, getting different advice from different people, and getting so far with a particular will-writer who was pretty awful (and bank breaking).

In the end, I opted for a will-writing solicitor who is also a Mumsnetter :) and who really has been brilliant - thorough, fast, and reasonably priced.

So really, I'm simply posting to say that if you're thinking about getting a will drawn up, and haven't decided yet on who to get to do it for you, consider Marlow Wills. Strongly recommended.

Marlow Wills also did my and dh's wills a couple of months ago and I'd definitely second the OP's recommendation. She was super efficient and helpful.

Just wanted to give this a bump and say that I have just used Marlow Wills to do mine and DH's will on mumsnet recommendation. She was fantastic and helped us make decisions about a few things we had not thought about. Best of all it was all done over the phone and email so I didn't have to drag two little ones to the solicitors office (the reason I have been putting it off so long!). I will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Thanks so much for your recommendation Lcy, much appreciated Smile

I would also like to give this a bump.

i have recently gone through a bereavement where there was no will and it made an awful period of my life far worse

I have just used Mumblechum/Marlow Wills and I couldn't be happier with the service. It was easy peasey and a fab price.

mumblechum1 · 31/05/2012 21:45

Oh, thank you so much Tigerbomb! I have a sneaky suspicion of who you are but I don't cross reference real life names and nicknames as it would be weird for both of us!

Thanks again for the plug Thanks

another vote for Mumblechum Grin, particularly after reading that thread about some loon charging 2.5k!
