Appointing a solicitor to write my will - what should I look for?

Is there an industry / professional body that I should ask about, like Resolution? All advice welcome (and recommendations, ideally in W/NW London). Thanks!

Go on the law society webiste - 'find a solicitor' page (google these) - and you can choose the specialism of wills and probate.

For complicated wills with significant assets in trusts you'll need a member of STEP.

There's a very good willwriter on here (Marlow Wills/Mumblechum) who wrote our wills recently and has done quite a lot of MNers' wills. Her website is www.marlowwills.co.uk
