Hi

I have a buggy for DD made by a major retailer which has been away for repair 2 times in last 4 weeks, finally got it back today and the problem still remains despite new parts been added and it all been checked again.

Not sure where I go from here tbh

Any advice appreciated

I'd ask them for a replacement. If they don't agree to provide you with one, then you should be entitled to your money back or you'll have to take them to the small claims court. I'm assuming you've bought it in the last 12 months, and it isn't broke because you've dropped it or something.

Its guarentee ran out 1 week after they had it back the first time.

So was still under guarentee

Have asked for a replacement they have requested it go to customer service dept to be looked at

Think you'll have to take them up on the offer. BTW a 12 month guarantee doesn't mean you have no redress if things go wrong after that.

Seems to me that they want to see whether it can be repaired or not as this is the cheaper option rather than replacement. I would emphasize that they have had it in for repair (x number of times) and despite their best efforts, the buggy is faulty.

My experience is that most manufacturers do comply with the legal requirements, but quoting legislation tends to be counter productive.

Oh, and a bit of practical advice: ask for a replacement while yours is being sent back to customer services. For some reason I have found that there's a resolution much quicker if you have a loaned buggy Wink

yeah already requested a loan buggy
