Is there a website or something?

Entitled To should give you a reasonably accurate estimate of how much you can expect.

If you have children with DH then you should also get child maintenance. This site will tell you how much you should receive but do know that if your DH is anything other than a steady PAYE employee then it can be tricky to actually get it.

DH is self employed but gets tax credits already, but in his name. Does this make a difference?

The tricky thing with the self-employed is that the CSA calculates child maintenance on net pay (minus pension contributions and one or two other minor things). Someone who is self-employed can play accounting tricks to make it look like their net pay is tiny.

Of course, this will only be an issue if your DH is a selfish arse who will happily screw you and DC(s) over just because he can. You know him better than I do.

Let's hope so!

Well he is a selfish arse so it looks like I am going to be screwed royally.

Thing is, we haven't actually seperated yet. Do I have to move into another property before I can make these claims?
What do we live on till then, am SAHM.
