Divorce - Bit Mucky

MessySituation · 10/01/2011 21:24

Am currently supporting one DD in my largish house with plenty of bedrooms

Other DD has gone off the rails and in the end very recently gone to try living with XH

XH has virtually nothing and gave up job to move and live with OW far away - says he is not working but doing bits and bobs for board and lodging Hmm

As XH always pleads poverty and I have been the earner have never received anything from XH and in fact if he could he would try to get me to fund the DD that is with him who is now just an adult

In the midst of all of this am now being made redundant - any idea on how this would affect divorce? Previously looked difficult for me because XH had nothing and I was earning a good wage, but if I don't?

More facts needed. If he is ex, aren't you divorced already? Was there a financial settlement? How long ago did you seperate/divorce?

Sorry, no we're not divorced - he left 15 months ago. Since then he just paid for himself and his housing. Have never paid me anything as he said he has nothing (largely true). I paid mortgage and all DC costs (both were with me). As a result of DD's issues, older DD has just very recently moved to be with him and OW.
