Mobile phone problem, I have a question

My dd got a new mobile phone for her birthday a few months ago. She uses the alarm on it to wake her up every morning for school, alarm clock broke so it's very useful that the phone also has an alarm, but the alarm has recently stopped working. She sets the alarm before going to bed and the phone switches itself off during the night and the alarm doesn't go off.

If I take the phone back to the shop will they give me a new phone or will they have to send it away to be investigated/fixed? Do I have any rights in this sort of situation?

Any advice appreciated, thanks

they will send it for repair. they will only give you new phone if withint one week or two.
save anything that is on the phone. like phone numbers, music photos.

first though try turning the phone off compleetely, taking out the battery and then putting it back in again . it may be a simple issue solved that way.

The last few phones vie had used to have an option where the phone switches itself back on when the alarm is due to go on. Is there such a setting on hers?

Does the phone randomly switch itself off at any other times?
