Does anyone know if there are grounds for having a claim for lupus within a court case for an RTA due to Lupus possibly being brought on through trauma?

You'd have to get a medical professional to say that it's connected IIRC.

Sounds like it would be almost impossible to prove the lupus was DEFINITELY brought on by the RTA, but maybe I am wrong.

As someone who has had lupus for the 34 years, I can tell you that the medical profession do not know what causes the condition, so you would not have a chnace in hell of proving that an accident brought it on.

You need to get medical advice and specialists' opinions. Causation will be vital in a case like this. You need to do some serious research into people who are specialists in the field. It's probably worth raising but you need some very good evidence to back the claim up.
