I was rear ended at speed-enough to write off my car and leave me with whiplash and some very unpleasant symptoms. The third party admitted liability immediately,as did the third partys insurance company.I have arranged to buy a new car which is not going to be ready for 2-3 months.Meanwhile I have been provided with a hire car.My circumstances are very difficult, both my dh and ds are severely disabled. My ds is a wheelchair user. Can the hire car company demand the car back?I cannot manage without a car and we have already been greatly inconvenienced through no fault of my own.I have legal cover and replacement car cover on my insurance. The car is £38 per day to hire and I dont want to have to hand over a large amount of money after a couple of months. When I called in the garage that had my written off car stored there was a sign that said Remember you should not have to suffer any inconvenience if it is the third partys fault` It then stated all these legal precedents.I would welcome your comments please,as on top of everything else I am worried sick I am going to have to hand the car back or be landed with a big bill.Thank you.
