Hi

Just wondered if anyone could suggest an online company to arrange my divorce

We have no complications, no house, no savings, no furniture it would just be a case of physically divorcing.

Thanks in advance

Claire

Actually the divorce bit isn't too difficult to do yourself if you are prepared to do a little reading and form filling. The application form is D8, the guides D183, D184, D185, D186, D187 & D190 and the list of court fees is EX150, all available to download from HM Courts website. The fee has just gone up, but if I remember correctly it is £320.

However, so that neither party can make future claims against each other you need a court order settling the finances and most people will require a solicitor to draft one, unless they happen to be a family solicitor themselves.

Personally I wouldn't recommend using online services because I've come across too many cases where problems have arisen down the line and it seems to be a false economy.

Hope that helps. Smile
