Cafcass Witnesses

In the past Cafcass have mis-reported some data and not reflected a fair and accurate account .

We have another meeting planned but I believe I may have anooyed the Cafcass officer by requesting that an independent 'silent 'witness is present . This will give me more confidence that when the report is produced I will have a reliable witness to confirn or deny of the report is accurate.

The Cafcass Officer has refused this request.

Can I insist i do have a witness of my choosing present?

Any advise gratefully rec'd.

Many thanks

Liz

Hiya, I dont think it can be seen as reasonable for the Cafcass officer to decline your request, I would ask them what their reasons are for this - and persist from there.

Very good idea though.
