Sorry its a long one but want some advice please. I ordered a dress for my dd from an internet site and they sent me the wrong size. I contacted them straight away to let them know but got no response. Eventually after 3 more emails and a phone call they said to send it back and they'd send the correct size out and refund me the cost of posting it back to them. I posted it back but got no dress in return. Over the following 3 weeks I emailed several times and left a message on the answer machine but got no reply. Eventually I emailed to say that, if they didn't send me the dress or refund me, I'd contact my credit card company to claim the money back. After this an email came through from the card payment comany saying they'd refunded the cost of the dress. I emailed the shop to ask why they've not refunded the p+p but, surprise surprise!, got no reply. I'm really peeved with them. I hasten to add that I've been nothing but polite with them and I feel like they treated me really badly. I'm out of pocket with nothing to show for it apart from one very disappointed 5 year old. Is there anything that I can do to get my money for the p+p back?

How much was the P&P? I expect it may not be that much - such as under £20?

Therefore may cost you more in court fees to get it back than the amount they owe you.

I'm not a lawyer so I don't know what you can and can't do in this sort of situation.

The card company has done the chargeback on the initial amount, so at least you have that.
