Hello, my partner is away on business from today for a week and I am fine in the week but always dread the weekend!
Mine are 9, 6 and 20 months. Any suggestions on what to do to fill up all the time at the weekend? Don't know whether to get friends around for the older ones and then just cope with the little one but will mean we can't leave the house (hate staying in all day). Can't go to cinema, etc, as youngest too young. Walking dog I will have to do but not exactly exciting for them all! Indoor playground a big possibility. Any other ideas?
Many thanks!

Take the younger one's to the park, invite a friend to stay for the 9 year old.
Invite friends over in the evening with children of similar ages for all of them, s rent dvd's or borrow dvd's buy or make some nibbles grab some wine and enjoy yourself.
Sunday make a nice roast dinner ask your friends to help or go out for dinner if you can afford it ,you have so much you can do and it doesn't have to cost alot more importantley keep busy and start calling your girl mates, good luck.

thank you mummy, I think the sun seems to be shinning so have decided to first go and spend some xmas vouchers in the shops (girls - love to shop!), then head back and get the dog and go to the park, then all curl up and watch some trashy saturday night TV! Sunday we are going to indoor playground, with another walk in afternoon. It will be nice. All my friends are mums from school (relatively new to this area) so they are all with their family at the weekend so unfortunatley girlie weekend for me isn't possible but just want to keep the kids happy really.
Thanks again.
