Family of 6 needing washing machine recommendations

Hi all my washing machine has given up the ghost and I`m hoping to get some recommendations from you lovely people with larger families on which to get and how well they work.
Would really like at least a 7kg drum so I can fit quilts in. Any ideas?

Hi have you checked out that new LG one with the 11 kg capacity but in a normal sized machine? I have just bought a new machine and wish I had known about the LG first. I havent checked prices etc so it may have been above my budget anyway but maybe worth a look for you.

bit pricey! Personally I just went for a decent make that was on special, any chance you could hold out until the sales start?

What about this one? Reviews on it are fab, and it's an 8kg.

I have an older lg (8 years still going strong) so would definitely look at the new one

though ours was normally priced not like that one!
