How are we all?

Doesn't seem to have been any new threads for a while, so I was just wondering how we all are???

Things are a bit mad here, as we had an appeal for ds1's place at secondary school last week, and we were turned down, so now I need to move 3 of my dc to new schools - obviously quite an upheaval (understatement!)

Other than that all is good.......

how are all the rest of you???

I'm fine, thanks for asking!!

Yes it has been quiet here recently.

Why do you have to move 3 of your dc's to new schools? What a hassle - poor you.

Bonkers here - far too busy, and impossibly difficult with a just-crawler and a toddler joining forces to wreak havoc while I'm trying to do school with the eldest!

cazboldy · 15/05/2008 19:49

BigBlueHat - as the eldest needs to change to a school in a different area, I will have to move the other 2 as I just can't be in 2 places at once!

Am really fed up about it!

DH said to just see what happens.

Hello,

I'm a bit of a newby really. I hope you don't mind me joining in

Things are going quite smoothly for me at the moment (famous last words) mind you I only have four children. My only real worries are my disgusting carpet and lack of money, but hey we have our health and that's the mail thing.

I am trying to convince myself that four is enough and I don't want any more but sometimes the urge to have a baby is overwhelming. I souldn't really come on here as in the idea of loads of children if far more normal than the raised eyebrows I get in real life. It might make me take the plunge.... but is that such a bad idea?

OK OK I'll stop waffling and go xx

Hello

I havn't really posted on this section either but I have been lurking for a while for inspiration

I have 4 lo's already, 3 boys and a girl and number 5 is due soon (another boy )

I am suffering terribly with spd and to be perfectly honest am completely fed up with being pregnant now (though please believe me I know how lucky I am)

But I still think I'd like to have another after this one

So would six be a really terrible idea? Anyone with 5 like to tell me how much harder it is than 4

cazboldy · 17/05/2008 21:03

I have 5 spiderpig..... and actually I don't think it is that much harder than 4

now would 6 be so much harder than 5????

And welcome bumface! (great name!)

I am feeling really snowed under atm

I am exhausted. The constant demands and whining are getting to me.

From my perspective 6 has been soooooo much harder than 5, but then no. 6 is incredibly difficult and even now at 13 months wants to BF everytime I'm sitting down.

I now know that harder depends entirley on the sort of baby you have. If you have a dream sleeper ( like no' 5) then it's easy peasy !!

ButterflyMcQueen · 18/05/2008 22:27

spiderpig!!

I ahve 4 boys and a girl - girl was number 2 what number is yours?

after the birth of no 5 ( a boy) i knew i woulld have to go again..so here i am 33 weeks tomorrow

5 is hard - but i have forgotten what 4 was like so cannot compare

not dreading 6 to be honest - it will probably be a nightmare but i do believe it gets easier the more you have!

kittywise · 18/05/2008 22:28

As I say it very much depends on the baby!!!

And no it doesn't get easier you just get more experinced!
