yesterday, my youngest was one...

she's not a baby anymore. It's a big milestone isn't it?

Happy birthday to your DD!
My DS was one last Sunday and he is still very much my baby. I won't have anyone tell me otherwise

yousaidit · 05/05/2008 20:01

Yes, dh looks at me mad when i started to0 say to dd 'you're not my baby anymore, you're a little girl'. Got her first shoes today, she's 18m (!) and she went into proper toddler mode refusing to uncurl her feet and wittering 'nonononononono' all the time: she should still be in babygroes with stitched in feet!

geordieminx · 05/05/2008 20:02

My ds was 1 yesterday too!!

cameroonmama · 05/05/2008 20:05

Happy birthday to dd lia! DS2 will be one on Sunday and he's the last, I so don't want him to get big, oh god I'm going to be one of those pathetic clingy mummies talking baby talk and smothering my boy with kisses even when he is a teenager

liahgen · 05/05/2008 20:15

hey Geordie. 5.59am. U?

cameroon, yeah me too. Luckily no sign of walking yet.

1pm. He started walking last week - there really is no stopping him!!!

liahgen · 05/05/2008 20:28

ahh, they are soo cute when they start walking. She's quirte happy on her bum at mo.

had her first experience (that she can remember) of grass this weekend, she kept putting her hand over the edge of the picnic rug, then rtetrating, lol. Was like there was an invisible barrier.

He is PFB so have never seen the cute walky dancing type thing they do in the first few weeks - he looks like a drunken puppet

Happy birthday Liaghens dd
I hated each of my babies becoming toddlers, i was broody within weeks of dd3's birth and there will be a 13 month gap between her and dc4.

liahgen · 05/05/2008 21:01

ooh, I have not posted your nappy. I am so sorry, i will do it first thing in morning.

When is your baby due? not long ? I want another. [boo hoo emoticon]

Geordie, i love every stage, I have promised dh that i won't want any more after the next one.

Did the nappy get to you ok?

liahgen · 05/05/2008 21:08

sorry yes it did. Fits perfectly. need to check it more often as i found to my loss, lol. damp legs, bless her. I like those, they are lovely and soft too.

oliviaelanasmum · 05/05/2008 21:10

Yes i would like to find out, after 3 girls if its a boy i shall have to buy everything new
I still have the pale pink ones too

liahgen · 05/05/2008 21:14

i might have a pale pink one off you. What sz was it as the bright pink was a better pink than the lilac?

OP posts:
oliviaelanasmum · 05/05/2008 21:15

The pale pinks are large same as the bright pink.

kittywise · 07/05/2008 16:08

liahgen dc6 is 13 months tomorrow and dc5 is 2 I still think of them both as babies!
Why not?

Cadmum · 15/05/2008 16:11

Our dc4 is 2... I almost feel broody. I have always been pg before the baby is 2...

I feel for you.
