How do large families do it?

I have 2 DC (aged 3 and 1). Both kids have a chest infection and last weekend both had a sickness bug. The weekend before both had a cold.... I feel like we've been looking after sick kids for weeks and weeks.... I can't help but wonder how do large families cope? I always thought we may have more kids but I honestly don't think I could cope with anymore. This season of illness has been utterly brutal.

I have 4 kids, generally we don't all get ill at the same time especially now they are out of the preschool age. Normally it's 1/2 in the family, if one of sick I clean and air the house to try and stop the spread.

I’m a lone parent to 4. It isn’t easy. I am sick at the moment and trying to look after 4 on my own is extremely hard. But obviously that’s very different from being in a couple so 🤷‍♀️
