Hi guys,

We're looking to buy a second hand 7 seater for 4 children aged 0-6 years. Need a jogger boot space for double pram and bikes (if poss!). Budget is £6-8K.

Have done some research and looking at VW Sharan, Ford Galaxy or Peugeot 5008.

Can anyone recommend any of these, pros/cons etc

Thanks x

Have you considered a Toyota Alphard, I wish I had one of these when my children were younger. They are a Japanese import and we've had one for several years now and the standard is excellent. There is one particular dealer I would recommend if you want to pm me.

When we were looking 6 years ago we really liked the look of the Ford Galaxy but it was well out of our price range. We ended up with a Ford Grand Tourneo Connect, it's basically a car version of the little van that loads of tradesmen have. It's 7 seater and I've used all 7 seats with shopping, a wheelchair and a buggy in the boot

We have a galaxy and it's brilliantly adaptable.

I've had both a Chrysler grand voyager and a Chrysler voyager;I've absolutely loved the space in both;I'd happily have one again but realistically we only need a five seater now as two my kids are all teens/adults.

Forget to add I have 4 kids all born very close together so needed the space too

I like my Sharan. My 3 kids sit in the middle row leaving a giant boot. I like the sliding doors in the back which are necessary as it's wide so normally a tight fit in car parks. The turning circle isn't great but it's not a deal breaker.

The Sharan and Seat Alhambra are built on the same wheel base so are basically the same other than decor .
