Just wondering those of you with 4 or more children how long does it take you to get yourself and the children ready and out of the house in the morning? Just wondering as I feel we are taking a long time in the morning to get out of the house so wondered how long others take?

I have two going to school, a toddler & a young baby. I start loading them in about 15 mins before we leave. Usually baby starts looking for food so I bring a bottle with me. It is chaotic and sometimes a schoolbag is forgotten in our rush. No matter how much planning I do or getting up earlier it's always a rush to get out the door!

I have 2 at secondary school and 2 at primary school. I make sure that uniforms and packed lunches, school bags are sorted the night before. I get up at 7 to have a shower and I get them all up at 7.30. Biggest 2 sort themselves out with a bit of nagging! We all leave the house at 8.15

We have uniforms and book bags laid out the night before, along with shoes and coats at the front door. There's a schedule on our phones which shows any anomalies like trips/non uniform/bake sales at 7.30pm the night before and 7.30am the morning of, so we have plenty of reminders.

I do breakfast, then hair/teeth/wash, getting dressed is last to prevent spills. I know I have to feed Dbaby by 8.25 to leave the house at 8.35, breaking them off the boob if necessary. It took some adjusting when Dbaby arrived but we're now all in the same mindset of getting the jobs done. DC can only watch the TV once they're fully ready for school, which aids motivation!

2 at secondary, 3 at primary. Older 2 are up at 6:15/30, get dressed at 7ish & leave at 7:45. Younger 3 are up between 7 & 7:30, breakfast just after 7:30 then teeth & dressed. Shoes on at 8:25 leave just after 8:30. The youngest 2 have been doing school runs since they were born so the routine is pretty second nature. I take about 15 min to get ready. DH gets up at 6 & I'm usually up at 6:45. Kits are ready & lunchboxes made the night before.

I need at least 4 days notice for food tech ingredients, ideally BEFORE I place the online food order Grin

I have 4 children (ages 9, 8, 6 & 1)
It takes us an hour from wake up to out the door most days to get them to breakfast club and child-minder (so that's time off from not needing to feed them)
If we do have breakfast at home that goes up to 1&half hours to get out.
Baring in mind my husband is at home she doodles to get himself ready while I get myself, 4 kids, 2 cats and the house sorted!
Practice and lots of panicking not gonna lie 🤣

I have 4 in primary school, it takes us an hour and 5 minutes from getting up to leaving the house. I pack the lunches the night before and have the uniforms ready.
