I have 4 children, 3 boys aged 12, 8 and 6 and a girl aged 1 and half, at the moment my 13 year old has his own room, my 8 and 6 year old share a room and my daughter is in with me, I'm just thinking about bedroom/sharing who would you put with who, I was thinking splitting the biggest room and having my 8 and 6 year old one end then my daughter her own end of the room... or my 13 and 8 year old in the same room then my 6 and 1 year old... or just keep my daughter i my room I don't know what to do but need to decide before I start decorating each bedroom SmileSmile

Have you discussed with your 12 year old about changing rooms? I personally wouldn’t make him give up his bedroom, he’s nearly a teenager and he needs his own space and privacy.

I guess splitting the biggest room depends on how big it is, can all 3 children be in there comfortably with their own space?

Yes my eldest doesn't want to share a room and I feel it is quite unfair him sharing too as he likes his space and is more chilled out than the others and also goes to sleep a little later, and my best thought was to put the 3 in together but just wanted opinions I think they'll be fine in there the room is big enough I'd have the 2 boys one end with bunk bed and space to place then my daughter the other end with her little area, and they all get up at around the same time and the same with bed my daughter goes at 7 and the boys at 8 but I wouldn't mind them all lying in bed with the tv on to fall asleep so if my daughter is up till 8 it isn't a problem, so I think I'll go with that plan sorry for the pointless post 🤣
