Name changed.

I'm a mum to a nearly 3yo and nearly 1yo, a boy and a girl.

We always said we were done at 2 but now I'm feeling broody for a third. I'm mid 30s, good jobs, 4 bed house.

How did you know you were done? Sometimes I feel like I am and others I wonder. Eldest goes to school in 2025, so wouldn't be looking to conceive for another 2 years. Plenty of time to think.

Is it just the feeling that the baby stage is now over? How do you split your time between 3?

I never had a done feeling after my second and went back and forth a lot. Sometimes I’d feel at peace with the idea of having two, at other points I felt certain we’d have a third. In the end we did and I felt done the second he came out. No exaggeration. So I definitely got the done feeling that friends had talked about once number three was here.

We are in the same position. Both stable jobs, 4 bedroom house. We have a nearly 3 year old and a 4 year old. I have always wanted three children, and the feeling hasn't gone away. My husband doesn't want another one yet (if ever). I currently have the coil and secretly want it to fail 😅
