So I’m the parent who does everything for the babies. A 5 month old and a 17 month old.

I even co slept with my daughter as I was so worried we wouldn’t the close. I’m witb hee all day and do everything for her yet I feel like she still prefers her dad to me.

I don’t know how to deal with it. Anyone else have a similar experience

That's normal. They see dad as fun, someone to play with. My 16 month old is obsessed with her dad and when he comes home from work she is jumping from excitement and keeps saying dada dada. Her reaction to me is completely different as I take care of her around the clock.

Yep, it’s normal.

I had that but my 20 month old is suddenly all about me so I think they go in phases. But yea, the fun parents understandably get the most outward attention.

Same here. It’s like DH is a single parent and I’m… the f—-ing housekeeper/cook.
