is it really that difficult growing up in a boys only family?

have 4ds and it’s recently occurred to me as they are entering teenage years that all those people ohhh all boys and recently one of the teachers being sympathetic to ds saying i know how hard it is having lots of siblings…
i come from a mixed family so won’t know really the struggles of only having brothers but would love to hear others experience who grew up with boys only

I don’t have experience I’m afraid but I think that comment sounded unnecessarily negative - being one of 4 boys is unlikely to be hard and indeed depending on individual family dynamic likely to be lovely ! I wouldn’t let it worry you at all. Do your DS seem happy?

I work with a lovely young lad who is one of five boys and he always talks very positively about his family, they seem really close.
