Anyone tempted to have ANOTHER baby

So I have two boys. Age 3, and 2 ... they're lovely, hilarious.
Me and my partner have recently felt like we've just gotten a little bit of freedom back, since the last 3/4 years have clearly been quite full on and especially during lockdown. But anyway, we've worked and saved so hard, bought a lovely new build nere the beach.. And have been discussing how we are looking forward to holidays away hopefully, and being able to have more of a routine when they start school etc... thing is - hubby has an older son, 10 year old who comes to stay, which is great all fine... so when we do go away it's 3 kids, day trips out .. 3kids .. and he also has a bedroom over here, don't get me wrong I love it but the problem is when I see another baby my ovaries are squealing Grin .... then I think, day trips will be taking 2 cars.... boys will have to share a bedroom etc ... it's just tempting as older son is only here couple nights a week... but not fair on him to not have a bedroom...
agggh.... just thinking out loud ....

Could you build an extension maybe? Or move again in a few years?

I think the planet can definitely cope with everyone having as many babies as nature makes them want, especially as babies survive these days. Crack on!

No, I wouldn't want 4 dc. I couldn't give each of them the time and money they enjoy.

It’s hard if they don’t have their own bedrooms. I’m not sure I’m ‘done’ with my 3 but we have a spare bedroom if we do decide to go again. But I’m not sure I’ll ever feel ‘done’ so I think I need to push down my yearnings! It’s not easy though, I can’t imagine never being pregnant or having a newborn again Sad

How will your stepson feel losing his bedroom because your ovaries are squealing? Where are you proposing he should sleep?

You need to prioritize the children you've already got, and if having another child means that one of your existing children no longer has a bedroom when he's going into his teenage years, then you don't have room for any more children.

The fact you have posted this in larger families speaks volumes. If you want another so bad and dh is onboard with it, crack on. You will make it work for your family.

Seems pretty selfish. I don't think " my ovaries are squealing" is a good enough reason. It's unfair on your stepson. Plus we're in a climate emergency.
