Hi
Just wanted to check in, first time on here!
DH goes back to work today and I am scared to death!
5th child but youngest is 10 in feb so it's like we're brand new parents again Confused
Anxious nervous everything possible, all I've done is cry. I will feel silly in a few weeks time but right now I'm frightened

Hi Lindos, why are you frightened? I'm not quit following, do you mean your youngest is 10 months?

lindos15 · 06/12/2021 12:26

Sorry, new addition is 2 weeks old and we have nearly 10 year age gap so it's like being first time parents again

It’s daunting isn’t it! How did you do? I bet you smashed it. Hope you’re okay xx

Oh hope you’ve been okay x I have four and the youngest is 6 - although it hasn’t been as long as you I couldn’t imagine a jump back to the baby stage! I don’t know why but as soon as they get to about 3/4 you forget what bloody hard work they were.

Try and enjoy it as much as possible. It really flies away from you. And if you’re very nervous/struggling, have you any family you can call in for a bit of support?

Hi! Thanks for the replies, I think it’s anxiety getting the better of me more than anything. No not really it’s just me and my husband, he went back to work last Monday and all I did was cry, he’s in tomorrow too so the anxiety has been building all day. Baby is constipated so hasn’t been sleeping as well as she was doing so we’re literally walking round like zombies 🤣xxx
