Hey everyone
Just wondering if anyone can help me out?
Found out this morning I am pregnant, I have a 2 and a half year old and a 1 and a half year old already
So they will be 3 and 2 when baby should arrive and I am absolutely terrified about how I am going to deal with having 3 so close, I told my partner and he is devastated he said he isn't ready, but I REALLY don't want to have a termination I think it will destroy me if I'm honest
Has anyone got any advice on how they found having babies close in age?
I just feel like crying today I just don't know what to do

It’s early days for me (youngest is 3months) but absolutely love it. Have 14 month gap then a 20 month gap. I’ve found it easier to sit and feed than I did with my second as the older two entertain each other a lot. Takes a while to get out the door but imagine you are used to that already! It’s obviously hard work and a lot of juggling different needs and prioritising but the transition has been easier than I expected, What are you particularly concerned about?

@Onesunnyday8 thanks so much for your reply lovely!
I'm just more concerned about my partners reaction to the whole situation tbh, we've talked about it and he's not happy, but it's my body my choice so this little one is here to stay.

Congratulations Op .As you said , the little one is here to stay.
I had three in very close together and it was tiring and difficult at times juggling three young children
However, it was easier in some ways because they were usually interested in the same things and could play together.
They are now teens and I absolutely love the fact that they are in close in age. The only ‘stressful ‘ thing is that they take public examinations in close succession.

I know you posted this a while ago, but is just browsing the larger families board.

Im pregnant too, (early weeks), and have a 2.5 year old and a not-quite one year old. It's a bit daunting, isn't it!

Hope your pregnancy is going well.

I’m also pregnant (surprise/shock) and have 14 month old twins. Will have 3 under 22 months...eek.

Had three under two and a half. Like you, the third wasn't planned!
Can't lie, the first two years with three so close together nearly broke us. BUT, they are 4, 5 and 6 now and we feel like a proper team, the 5 of us. They play together, all interested in the same places and activities. Feel done.
Totally worth it.
