Just that really. I'm 17+3 with DC5. Others range from 20-1. I am on a lovely birth group but would love to chat to others who are expecting their 3/4/5/6/7.... it would be nice to chat about the practicalities and anxieties I guess.

We had a lovely ttc group going on here when I was ttc DC4.

Hey, I'm 27+3 with baby number 6 :)

Burningbenches · 07/01/2021 16:23

Hi @birthdaykake, wow 6! What ages are your others.

I've got an adult dc, plus 11, 9 and 1yo. I seem to have a couple of babies every 10yrs 😂 there are 17m between my 2nd and 3rd and will be 22m between 4&5, which might be better might be worse, but I'm glad DS will have a sibling close in age.

I swing wildly between, it will be ok and wtf am I doing! How are you doing?

Hey @Burningbenches :)

My others are 12, 9, 8, 4 and 18 months. But there'll be no big gap for me because DH is getting the snip after this baby 😩 (my first four are not with him).

I'm not too bad thank you, just very tired, and hoping I can have a home birth!

Burningbenches · 07/01/2021 16:41

Ooh nice your youngest is similar age to mine (17m). My eldest is from my first marriage, others are with DH. I'm definitely gonna sort something permanent out after this one, I'm 41 too but clearly #5 means I can't just rely on being old 😂

Baby #6 here too

birthdaykake i remember you from these threads in my last pregnancy (dc5 is 16months) although i have likely name changed multiple times, i also have 12, 11, 7 and 4

I am about 12 weeks i think

Burningbenches · 07/01/2021 17:58

@THATbasicSNOWFLAKE I think I recognise your style of user name from my last one too, were you on August 19 for a bit?

Burningbenches · 07/01/2021 17:59

Congratulations and good luck with your pregnancies ladies.

I’m currently trying to convince DH to try for number 4 but he’s having none of it

THATbasicSNOWFLAKE · 07/01/2021 18:21

burning i was but then my dates changed to Sept!

Millymoo198 · 09/01/2021 19:53

Hey, im pregnant with baby no 5! My new partner of two years has 2 children so will be 7 all together. Hes really not happy as we wasnt trying for one. Little bit heartbroken and dont know what to do as its caused a massive rift in our relationship. 10 weeks and 1 day today 💙

SendHelp30 · 09/01/2021 19:55

@Millymoo198 congratulations! I’m sure he will come round. My DH isn’t budging so I don’t think I will have number 4

Millymoo198 · 09/01/2021 21:28

I found 4 easier than 3 because they had someone to play/bond with 💙
I hope you do get no4. Mine was born at home and all the children came down to see him brand new in my arms. It was beautiful xx

Burningbenches · 10/01/2021 09:13

@sendHelp30 I can totally understand that. My eldest is from my first marriage and then DH and I had 2&3 close together. I was keen on another but he wasn't until #3 was about 6 or 7 and then #4 to 19m to conceive so the gap is a lot longer than I had imagined. But those years of wanting another and he didn't (I didn't push tbh) I do understand the wanting and I hope he comes around.

@millymoo198 hugs. I really hope things improve for you. Its a scary situation, my eldest was unplanned.

I am 18+1 I haven't told anyone IRL apart from DH. I feel really nervous about it tbh, Idk why. At my age (41) it's not like we could wait until covid is over. I've only ever (to my face) had positive reactions previously, people were shocked when I said about DC4 but probably more to do with the gap and my age. Pregnancies 1-4 were straightforward, but this one I had a huge bleed at 12wks at my scan and have 2 small subchrionic haematoma, so plan to mention after my 20wk scan.

SendHelp30 · 10/01/2021 10:33

Thank you! DH this morning said he would have another but not yet. Ours are 6, 3 & 18 months so I can understand that 😂

Millymoo198 · 10/01/2021 11:40

My eldest is 14 and youngest (until baby comes) is 2. They are always together. They have a beautiful relationship. The age gap will be a good thing.
Ahh thank you, im not sure it will. Hes refusing to come to the 12 week scan. 💔

Burningbenches · 29/01/2021 15:09

How is everyone doing? I'm 20+6 and had my 20wk scan today. Not 100% but sonographer thinks it's a girl. So little DS will be outnumbered 4 to 1!

Still not told anyone. Not even the kids...
