4th after slight bladder prolapse?

I'm 38 and have 3dc. 12, 10 and 18mo.

After dd3 I had a slight bladder prolapse. I've managed it myself and its much better now. She was 8lb 13 and 15 days late!

Has anyone had any experience of this? Did it make it much worse?

Thank you x

I'd love a 4th but am terrified about causing more damage.

Hi

I had a bladder prolapse after baby 2. I had to have the full bladder reconstruction surgery where they open you like a csection and attach the bladder into it's new home. I had this done 18 months ago and I have just given birth to baby number 3. I obviously couldn't have her naturally but that's fine. My bladder has been amazing throughout. I had support with the urologist consultant and baby consultant throughout the pregnancy.

Go see your GP. There is quite a few boxes to get ticked before the operation as they like to try everything first but don't let it put you off another baby. Xx

Thank you. You were lucky to get the surgery. Did you have mesh?

I was only early 30's and knew I couldn't have any quality of life with it the way that it was. Thankfully my urologist was very keen on getting it sorted too.

No my prolapse was too far gone so I have a csection size cut and the bladder was re attached inside into a new position. I've had no problems since. Xx
