Ever since I was young I always wanted a large family, my husband only wanted 2 kids. It took us a long time (7 years) to get pregnant with number 2 and when she was born I immediately wanted number 3, however as I'm somewhat overweight (and have pcos) and am still breastfeeding I haven't had any periods and don't think I will for a while, we haven't been using any protection so he knows the risk but everytime I bring it up he either says he doesn't know, once we've both lost weight, not right now or once I've got a job (currently a sahm).
Should I try and lose some weight and hopefully get pregnant quicker than last time or should we wait until he definitely wants a third?
He's worried about money but I would get a job once our youngest is in school (possibly once it's in pre-school) and I know kids cost money but I really don't think the baby stage does (especially as we currently have everything and would only need a few new clothes if we wanted them)
Am I being selfish by trying to get him to answer when he isn't ready to decide?

If you aren't using protection and he's fully aware of this then he can't be against or surprised by a number three. I'd make it very clear to him you might well get pregnant

If he doesn’t want a 3rd it would be unfair to have one, However he needs to be aware the not using contraception could easily result in pregnancy, even if you had struggles falling pregnant before.
