Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I'm looking for some advice on moving house with our 3 young kids.

OH has been offered a promotion 250 miles away, theres nothing similar available nearby. I'm a SAHM and I'm worried about uprooting the kids. Brand new primary schools and nurseries etc. I'm also worried about being isolated as we know noone there and I'd be home on my own all day. We currently have family about 90 mins away which is handy for emergencies but will have nothing if we move.

The job is big opportunity for OH. Eventually, once weve settled hopefully we would have a good quality of life in a nice area but I cant help thinking we have most if this where we are now. Is it worth such upheaval and will the kids be ok?

Anyone have any experience please?

I’ve not had a similar experience as we moved 200 miles to be closer to our family and my ds was only 9 months old.

But I do a lot of voluntary work and I from experience with welcoming new children who have moved to the area, I know Your children will be fine. They will have the most important people in their lives with them and should adjust to their new lives pretty quickly. :)

I hope so! Is it just the Mum guilt that makes it so stressful?! OH is not too concerned Confused
