BMW X1 3 car seats

Anyone have a BMW X1 and managed to fit 3 car seats across the back struggling to find any info online. Thanks.

We have one and tried. Had to get a multimac in the end. Even the In Car Safety place (I think that’s what it’s called) said we’d have to do that. Apparently the BMW X1 has slightly curved edges to the seats which makes it even harder to get three in than it would be anyway.
I hated the multimac with a newborn - the newborn seat is frankly weird and he hated it for weeks. From around 12 weeks it got better and now I’m happy with it.
The other drawback is you can’t take the newborn seat out and click it into travel systems- again not esp helpful with a newborn and school runs.
But we figured it was cheaper than getting a new car...
(Although because of our parking situation we would find it hard to get a bigger car anyway. Without that constraint I think we would have got a bigger car that could get three seats in across the back).
