Recently discovered we are expecting dc5. Bit of a shock.

Anyone else expecting 5 or more?

Or anyone who has had 5, how did you find it compared to the others?

How old are your others? We have 5 under 6yrs and life is very tough at the moment but my children have SEN, we've only just had our 5th 4 days ago so need to get into a routine and I'm still recovering from the birth so it's a working progress

They are 10, 9, 5 and 2! Yours are so close together! Were you classed as high risk for number 5?

Yes, I've been high risk with all my pregnancies but with my 5th I was at risk of haemorrhage due to it being my 5th baby, didn't bleed lots though and lost the least blood with this one compared to my others, guess they just needed to play things safe though!

Are most people high risk with number 5 do you know?

I have had four straight forward natural deliveries with no issues

Hi I have 5, I was classed high risk with the 4th and 5th
5is a big step from 4 I thought it would be easy but the 5th has been the hardest from start to finish and she's 2 now

Hey!

I'm expecting #5 in July. Looking forward to it. It's got to be easier than this sickness!

loz85 · 12/01/2019 11:17

I have 5. Mine are 14,12,10,6 & 5. Number 5 was an unexpected shock especially in that I'd only given birth a few months prior to number 4 and was in the process of pushing the doc to refer me for sterilisation. Going from 4 to 5 I actually didn't find difficult at all but then as a baby she was very good, now as a 5yo she's spoiled, has everyone including her 6yo brother wrapped round her finger and throws tantrums like I've never seen 🙈

IVEgottheDECAF · 13/01/2019 12:20

Mixed views on how much of difference number 5 makes then!

BirthdayKake are you showing yet? If so how early on were you?

BirthdayKake · 13/01/2019 13:21

@IVEgottheDECAF yes I'm showing, at 13+6. I don't think other people notice when I've got a coat on, but it's definitely noticeable at home!

This was the bump on NYE

How many weeks are you there then? About 10/11?

BirthdayKake · 13/01/2019 17:15

I was 11 weeks I think!

IVEgottheDECAF · 13/01/2019 17:53

Hmmm i really want to conceal this until ive had a scan!

BirthdayKake · 13/01/2019 18:25

I think you can definitely conceal it in winter! For me, it helped that I wasn't leaving the house at all because the sickness was so bad!
