Hi all,

I have a four year old daughter. And until a year ago me and my husband lived with my parents to help our finances. Because of our work commitments, my daughter is picked up by my mum and i collect her much later around 6.

Is it normal that my child cannot contain her excitement of seeing my sister and her family or my parents. But when we're around after her staying away from us for over a week, she baring notices we're in the room.

If my sister called she will fight for the phone. But myself or my husband called to check up on us, she will make excuses to not talk.

Me and my husband are very giving to my daughter and as she's the only child, she gets alot of attention. But we're careful not to spoil her.

Is anyone else in the same boat or has been.
It's a little distressing for me at times as my efforts at looked over and she's over the moon with even strangers.

Thank you in advance.

She’s probably just young and excited as they’re ‘different’ people, she will mature out with age, I wouldn’t worry right now x
