How did you decide when you were ready to have a 2nd?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Emm...this is a tough one because we have quite a bit age gap between DC 1 and 2. Although DC was an "easy baby" I was young and didn't have a lot of money or support so I found it very hard. I always wanted a big family though, so once I had completed the course I was doing and was married we went for DC 2, we had DC3 15 months later, he is now 2 and we are considering fostering or adopting or going for #4.

I would have had DC2 sooner if I wasn't flat broke and working all the hours I could to support us after DC1.

Also interested in this question. DD is 3 and a gorgeous little girl. I have always imagined having more than one but I'm nervous that if we do we will affect DD and make our lives so much harder. BUT when I see a baby I do think aww and my tummy hoes and I can't imagine in x amount of time only having 1 child at our family get togethers etc so I keep thinking about the future and thinking that it is for the best. BUT then start panicking about labour and pregnancy and DD getting upset that I can't spend the time with her that I do now. Etc etc.
