Do I try for number 3? Or stick with 2?

I have one girl 3 and one boy 1. As soon as my son was born I New I wanted a third. I always wanted three children. My husband agrees that a third would be lovely. However, we currently have “ok” paying jobs. We luckily don’t pay full whack for childcare as my mum looks after them. She is a lifesaver! But we do find that finances are tight at the best of times. Ideally I would not want a large age gap between my son and the next. So do I not go for a third or do I have a third and feel the strain financially as my mum wouldn’t be able to help with the next one so would be in full time childcare. I work full time and nursery drops and pick ups are already difficult.

So confused. We won’t be having another right now was thinking the end of 2019?

It would be nice to hear what others have found.

Thanks in advance. Xxx

Hi, could you think about waiting a bit for the next one so that #1 is in school (Sept after 4) And #2 is eligible for 30 hour free care (if you work 16hrs)? Maybe a solution? X
