We are a family of 8, kids ranging from teens to baby. Where do you go? Where do you stay?

We're only a family of 5 but we've gone to French campsites and they're just brilliant.
Load up the car and away you go!

We are a family of 6. Initially we started off camping in France with all 4 (ours born within 5 years). Due to family weddings, we've ventured further afield - Australia (dh and I are Australian and while it's going 'home' for us, our families live 7 hours apart so lots of travel). Twice we've been to the US for family weddings. This Easter we even managed a short road trip in the states.

I'd start small though. Beach/farm holiday in U.K. Or camping in France for 7 days. See how it goes.

Before we started travelling again, our last trip was when we had two dc aged 1 and 2. We then didn't go on holiday til we had a 6, 4, 3 and 1 yo!

@Imip, in January I'll have an almost 5yr old, 3yr old and 2yr old and newborn. Sounds a lot like your gang. You're are older now, when did it get easier? Any tips? I'm really putting effort into the eldests independence, not least because I'm too sick to pander to his every whim. But would love to hear your thoughts on life with 4 of those age gaps.
