9 & 2 year old sharing bedroom?

Currently in a 3 bed. Dd who is 8 shares with her brother who is 6. It's going well.

Dd2 is in her own nursery.

When dd2 starts sleeping through she will be in with dd1 and ds will have his own room. Dd1 is very excited.

Would it work?!

I don't think it's fair really. At 9 I liked having my own room for having friends over etc.

Your two year old is probably going to disrupt her sleep, and vice versa. With different bedtimes and both children needing different things I don't see how it would work for both children.

My DDs are now 17 and 10 and have been sharing a room since they were 9 and 2. We haven't found it a problem.

I imagine she'd rather share with a sister than a brother as she gets older.

My girls are 12, 9 and 2 and share a room with no problems.

Of course it will be fine. My 7 year old and 11 month old share a room.

Our 9 and 2 year old DS share, DD3 has her own room which she shares with SDs age 12 and 13 when they stay. It works fine for us.

Yes! Great that dd1 is excited about it.

We have 2 bedrooms, twin DD and new DC coming soon... No plan as yet, but i imagine they'll all be in together at some point!
