Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any good hotel appartments to search for on Thomson/Thomas Cook. For a family of 2 adults, and 4 children.
I keep getting offered 2 small apartments when I search online, but would rather us all in together, or interconnecting..
Short Haul preffered..
Any advice appreciated..

I found using the Jet2 website came up with better options for this - cheaper, too!

I found the same problem in the Thomson website (I have 4 ds age 8, 7, 5 and 3). There is an option on the left hand side I think to choose options for your room where you can choose that you want just 1 room which will then just show you a room with 2 bedrooms etc that sleeps 6 or just interconnecting rooms. I booked last month with them and couldn't get interconnecting rooms but have got a good deal on a 2 bed apartment which also has 2 beds in the living area and its in all inclusive hotel (dh won't do self catering!)

Go on "On the beach" it has a great search engine -

Note down the hotels and use the name in which ever preferred company -

Did you know that you can book it yourself?

You just need to include "airline" failure on your usual travel insurance - you then have the same cover - but obviously not the reps - who just want to sell you days out -

Thomas Cook are a bit hit and miss. They will try to get you an interconnecting room if they can.

They told us they were all sold out last year but when we got there we had one. Our rep had emailed and asked specifically for one a week before we left.

Funnily enough we were in Tc this morning trying to book for next year, all interconnected rooms already gone!

We have 4 children.
Try Esprit Summer. We have been to lake Garda and French Alps with them. Total success. Child care, children's tea time and babysitting included in some packages so you get some alone time too.

Or try Sal, Cape Verde, flying with Thomson/First Choice. Rooms are next door to each other with an outer door which is lockable too. Worked really well for us. AI, 5 hour flight and it's exactly like the Caribbean but for less.Totally safe but quite undeveloped.
