How long did it take you ttc each dc?

How long did it take ttc each dc and how old were you?

I'm ttc #3. This is my first month ttc, and I'm anxious already (I know, I'm a neurotic ttcer- that I'm not ovulating/have short luteul phase or am pre-menopausal or other such problems).

I just wondered if having dcs already would mean it would be easier to conceive? So just wondered how old you were when you conceived each child and how long it took...

ttc#1 32 yearrs old- 7 months
ttc#2 34 years old-4 months

Hi Zippy, I have just had number 3 (he's 6 weeks old). I had number 1 aged 23 - he was unplanned and caught me unawares, number 2 aged 31 took 4 months to conceive and number 3 aged 34, I had my coil out in January last year and conceived in March (although was trying February as well so 2 cycles). Ttc #1 at 28 took 4 months

Ttc #2 at 30 took 2 months

Still undecided about ttc no 3

Ttc no1, 2 months at age 33
Ttc no2, 2 months at age 35
Ttc no3, 8 months (miscarried at 7weeks) then 1 month at age 37
Ttc no4, accident am due sept and am 39
Dh will be going to the vets.......

Ttc 1 - aged 19 1 month (miscarriage)
Ttc 2 - aged 23 1 month
Ttc 3 - aged 25 1 month (miscarriage)
Ttc 4 - aged 27 1 month
Ttc 5 - aged 30. Only one not planned

Dh is same age and all of those have been with dh.

Dc1 first month I was 24
Dc2 2nd month I was 25
Dc3 3rd month I am 28

Dd1 - I was aged 24-25 and she took 9m (born when I was 26).
Dd2 - I was aged 26-28. 2y, including fertility investigations and 6 cycles of clomid (there was no reason why we were jot getting pg and dd2 was eventually born when I was 29). It was a hellish time.

I'm now 32yo and close to ttc dc3 but I will give it one year and if it doesn't happen in that time, I'd be accepting. I also don't want more than 5y between dd2 and dc3.

Ds1 I was 22 and he was unplanned.

Ds2 I was 25 ttc 6 weeks

Dd1 was 27 conceived 1st cycle

Dd2 I 32 and she was completely unplanned and a total shock.

dp is no longer allowed near me

Dc1 - 18 months after fertility investigations and removal of a cervical polyp
She was very sadly stillborn. I found out I was pregnant with dc2 9 weeks later on my first full cycle.

Dc3 - 1 month
Dc4 - 1 month
Dc5 - 1 month

For all my surviving dcs, we dtd every 2nd day. For dc1 I used ovulation sticks. I was having lots of early miscarriages unbeknownst to me. I estimate that I would have had about 4 miscarriages during that 18 month period. I can only guesstimate that where my cycle was longer than my usual 28 days. Fertility specialist agreed with this.

TTC1 - 1 month (miscarriage) - age 32
DC 1 - surprise baby - age 33
DC 2 - 1 month - age 35
DC 3 - surprise baby - age 37

Used ovulation sticks & literally had 1 well timed shag each time.Amazingly lucky but want to reassure you it needn't take long even in late 30s

dc1, age 25 - 3 months
dc2, age 26 - first time I ovulated after having dc1
dc3, age 28 - 1 month

We ttc a 4th last year (I was 31), conceived on the first month, but sadly the pregnancy ended in miscarriage. We haven't tried again and don't think we will now. Overall I've been very lucky - I always think it's a bit odd that we ttc for the longest time when I was youngest! I'd never have expected to conceive more quickly at 31 than I did at 25, but hey ho, you never know with these things!

Ttc 1, age 30, 9 months (11 cycles). She's 11 days old today :)

age 24 - unplanned m/c
25 - 1 cycle = dd1
26-30 - 4 m/c including IVF twins diagnosed with APS
31 - 3 cycles = ds1
33 - 8 cycles m/c
34 - 2 cycles = dd2
36 - had sex once (!) while breastfeeding & no periods = ds2

Dc1 no ttc
Dc2 7 months 27 but not really ttc iykwim
Dc3 4 months 34

Ds1-23,unplanned
Ds2-24,1month
Ds3-32,1 month
Dc4-34 currently ttc for 5 months so far
