evening everyone.

I need advise. My partner and I have managed to move out and get a 1 bed place with out not so LO (2yo). There's a kitchen/front room, bathroom, 1 bedroom and patio. We little space but finally OUR space. As the room is small we currently have a double bed for all 3 of us. It's a bed which you can store stuff underneath with like wooden slats. Is there a small bed which could fit underneath it, or anything you could advise that we get for LO. Something which can disappear in the morning and reappear in the eve?

Or any other ideas. I would of course sleep in the front room but there's not much space at all.

Any advise welcome :-)

Could your dc sleep on a futon mattress that could hide during the day and come out at night? You can get them as single beds. On the base they can fold up into a chair, if you have room for the chair?

I know four families that have one or two dc that live in one br flats (live in London, not uncommon), the three families with 2dc - the parents sleep in the sofa bed and the dcs have the bedroom and it is also their play space. The family with one dc have sectioned of a small part of their room with a tiny bed for their dd.

One family I know do use the futon bed (single) and only half extend for their dc as dc is small.
