Going for number 4 after years of talking about it...

I turned 40 this year and its now or never! We have 3 lovely boys aged 11, 8 and 6 and we just feel clucky as hell.. IF we're lucky enough to get pregnant again I think it will be brilliant for all of us. I have literally been broody since having my last son - and as he's a complete angel it's been hard not to want another one. My sister had her 2nd three weeks ago and helping her out made me realise we have to go for it! I have a fab job but I know that's not the be all and end all...I am scared to death but so excited that we've just made the decision. Just wanted to share as I can't sleep thinking about it!

Congratulation i remember the excited feeling every time we decided to try for a baby! Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you to happen very quickly x

Thanks for the well wishes...couldn't concentrate at work today thinking of boys names! Really silly but hey ho...can't help it! Maybe I have truly lost the plot! Molotov - our third really made our two little boys feel like a gang! We were going to stick at 2 but now we've got 3...!

Ohhelpohnoitsa...great name by the way! I have days when I wish we had gone for it earlier...and if it wasn't for my husband's massive encouragement I would feel too old at 41. I know friends and family will be hugely critical but we only have one go on this planet...and another little one just seems like its right for us.

I had DC 4 earlier this year aged 46!

I'm also 40 and TTC no.4. People think we're crazy especially as the other 3 are 19, 17 and 14!

Thanks Allthefours - good luck to you too! I'm not telling anyone we're trying as I don't want the negative comments or energy spoiling something that we really feel is right for us - OR the girl comments which will really piss me off as I would love another healthy baby whatever it is!
