What's in your bottomless diaper bag?

People say I have far too much stuff in mine and even the nurses made a passing comment but they do forget I have 4 under 2 plus a 5 & 3 year old so I need stuff, and honestly I think my bag (the awesome jujube be prepared) is pretty tame compared some 2+ bags I've seen!

I have:

  • Gdiaper flushable inserts (6) (I use cloth at home)
  • Underwear (2)
  • Outfits (4)
  • Jackets (depending on forecast)
  • Diaper sack for dirty clothes
  • Biodegrable/flushable wipes (Jackson Reece herbal)
  • Baby balm (sierra sage)
  • Weleda weather protection cream (my kids have sensitive skin)
  • Nipple cream (sierra sage)
  • Bibs (3)
  • Blankets (2)
  • Swaddle blanket (1)
  • Manual breast pump (MAM)
  • Bottle of bm (2)
  • Straw cup of baby zilli/water (4)
  • Tub snacks (5) (Plum baby little cremes)
  • Couple of toys/teether
  • Colouring book/crayons/book
  • First aid kit
  • DS4 Medication box & sharp case.
  • Juice for me (Bundle - great for us expecting mamas)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • My personal effects (phone, purse, camera, muterpass)

This is a typical day if I have all 6 with me (although my 5 & 3yo carry their own little packback on occassion). Just take out 2 snacks & cups if I have just the youngest 4.

This is a normal amount, right? What's in your diaper bag I'm kinda nosey? Grin

It sounds about right to me. I like to use 2 bags because I have main needs in 1 and additional things I might need in the other, which depending where I am going, I leave in the car.

Bag 1; cloth nappies
Cloth liners
Box of washable wipes
Spare nipper gripper (fab product to use instead of nappy pins)
Spare nappy cover
Wash bag for dirty nappies
Knickers, leggings, socks, T-shirt, cardigan (for 3yr old)
Trousers, socks, T-shirt, jumper (for 1yr old)
First aid kit, including arnica cream, nappy cream, lavendar cream, teething gel and the usual bump pad, plasters etc
Suncream
Diary, notepad, pen, mobile phone, hair bobble, nail file, lipsel
Sanitary products (still no period yet after 18m so any time soon I imagine)
Reins
Fold away shopping bag
Children's snack
Bottle of water
Disposable bibs
Disposable Detox wipes

Bag 2; sunhats
Waterproof coats and trousers for everyone
Mozkito repellant
Children's wellies
Children's fleeces
Blanket
Picnic blanket
Children and adult florescent jacket

I only have 2 under 4. Sounds loads when all wrote out in a list, but doesn't look loads. I have Phil & Teds pannier bags and although they don't look massive, they are pretty cavinase.

Having said all that I do have a repritation for having everything that could ever be needed in my bags.

I have one I keep in car but it's my back-up say if anything happens last minute like stop overs.

I keep adding to mine too but then I forget about them! Haha.
