PG with No.4 - ache in lower abdomen

Hello,

I just posted this in pregnancy but thought the Mum's of larger families might have the best knowledge.

I am about 5 and a half weeks pg with my 4th child, and have a constant aching in my lower abdomen / pelvis & top of my thighs for about the past week. You would think I would know if this is normal but it's been 3 years since my last pg. I know I did have this sort of pain with my other pregnancies but not sure if it was as constant. Sometimes when I'm asleep it makes me sort of clinch as if stopping a big pee (which I could also be doing). I mc'd my very first pg and the pain was much worse than this and for a couple of hours for one night only (although I had no idea what was happening at the time). Just wondering if anyone else has had this and if it is normal to feel it more on the 4th pg?

Could it be some sort of nerve pain? I had loads more aches and pains with my later pregnancies (5 pregnancies all up). They were in 6 years though, and I guess I didn't get much of a chance to recover in between.

Congratulations Thanks

I don't think it's nerve pain. Could be stretching. It's strange, since yesterday I have no pain. Don't know if that's a good or bad sign.o works out that I usually start feeling nauseous & tired exactly a month after I conceive which will be at the end of the week. First time I'm actually hoping to feel morning sickness.....
